Predict what your community will look like in 20 years time. Who will live here? What will our environment look like? Will there be more houses and people?
|
My prediction for the future in 20 years time is that the government will be Busting old houses and then making new houses to make them look a lot better. They will be upgrading the footpath and roads. There is a lot of land waste that the government isn’t using. There will also be an big transformation to the Glen Innes, Panmure and Point England community because the government wants new cool looking houses, he also wanted it to affordable so parents and kids live a long life, so they can stay warm and to stay healthy.

My community
This topic is about my community.
My Favorite things to do
This topic is about my awesome things I like to do
Studies show that when students come back from the holidays, they forget lots of what they’ve learnt before the holidays.
Why is important to read and write during the holidays? What kinds of things do you think students like to write about and why?
|
It is important to read, write and do mathematics or even memorise about the work you did last term or last week because the next term when you have a test the teacher you have might not have time or let you to revise your work.
I think that students like to write about what’s happening in their holiday or write about good or bad the things that happened in school last term or writing about their holiday homework.
Why because, so there grades doesn't fall behind the class. Which will go to there parents.

My Whanau/ Family
This is a short text based on Whanau and family
Our school whanau is sometimes called ‘The Tamaki Whanau/Family’. What do you think this means and why is our students and staff at our school described as a family? Use some of the important words above to help with your answer.
|
What I think this means is that everyone looks after one another, everyone respects each other, it;s like being one no matter what race they are. That you don’t feel left out They will help you. That no one is left behind.
Everyone communicates with each other and Tamaki is described as a family because they respect and care for each other. There will be some times when the community fights but there will always be someone to stop the fight even when you’re in trouble.

My Neighbourhood
The topic is ‘MY NEIGHBOURHOOD’
Imagine a new student has moved to your neighbourhood and you need to explain what it is like to live in your neighbourhood. How would you describe it to them? Think of three words to describe it and explain why you choose those words. What are the great and not-so-great things about your neighbourhood?
|
My neighbourhood.
Almost night or day there would be a party around the neighborhood and it can reach 5 houses away from that house. Some neighbors would complain because their children's has to sleep for school.
There is a group of bike riders who goes rides nearly everywhere. There would be games that they make up and some rules that we have to do like if we swear we have to do five push ups which we all mostly do.
Post this part to your blog: Title: My neighbourhood.

LEADERSHIP
My ideas of leadership
(Donald trump)
He needs help from police to patrol the city.
He has a lot of ideas, he’s stepping up to be a leader we look up to, he has thinking skills and he’s finding out how to keep the city safe.
He doesn’t know what he’s getting into. He’s made some changes

Fono fale
- What is a fono fale? A house used for an image to describe the pacific view importants factors in healthy development.
- What is different about it compared to Hāuora? The difference between Hāuora & Fonofale is the the Hāuora only has 4 dimensions/walls and the Fonofale has 6 dimensions, and the structure of the Hāuora and Fonofale are made different. Another thing is that the Fonofale has 2 major dimensions that they look up to and it is culture and Family, because Pacific Islanders love there family and culture.
- What is similar compared to Hāuora? The Fonofale is similar to the Hāuora because it uses three of the dimensions that our Hāuora has, Like Spiritual, Physical, Mental. Also it is similar because it is set up like a house with 4 walls just like the Hāuora.
Do you like the Hāuora model or the fonofale model more? Why?I think that the Hāuora is better because it is more simple and easier to remember. Also I think that using the 4 walls to use as an example for our 4 dimensions is kinda interesting but easy to remember.
